Mission: - Accelerating the drive, to economic, political and social empowerment of diverse modern leaders and to facilitate their leadership aspirations, capabilities and opportunities

2008 mission: is to facilitate the growth and change reflecting the increasing economic, political and social leadership of diverse women, working co-operativley to leverage their aspirations, capabilities and opportunities.

Athena 1 Associates: has among its advisors, a leading female peer, a member of parliament and a number of high profile successful women leaders in business and the media.

In 2008 supported by Barclays Bank  and Man Group plc. A1A delivered a series of Women in Leadership workshops in; Nottingham - Birmingham - Manchester & London.
The findings from the workshops combined with our ongoing survey have been compiled into an enlightening and informative report 'Women in Leadership 2009' on our behalf by Birmingham City University.
